In the world we live in today, ladies, how many times have you wondered if Jesus Christ is even real? How often have you doubted Him because the overwhelming chaos of this world is just too much?
1 John 1 5-6 “This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness in him at all. So we are lying if we say we have fellowship with God but go on living in spiritual darkness; we are not practicing the truth.”
Here is the paradox to this verse; we live in the world not understanding darkness when it clearly states that there is darkness in this world. If we are believers, disciples of Jesus Christ, we cannot live in spiritual darkness, instead we live as light to the world. But when we challenge the validity of His life – because of the darkness, we are confused, thus – we exaggerate the darkness – rather than being light to others through our relationship with Jesus Christ.
Ladies, darkness will not end. Jesus Christ is real despite the darkness. Backing up a bit to 1 John 1, the Apostle John reminds us that he witnessed the awesome power of Jesus Christ.
1 John 1:1-4 “We proclaim to you the one who existed from the beginning, whom we have heard and seen. We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands. He is the Word of life. This one who is life itself was revealed to us, and we have seen him. And now we testify and proclaim to you that he is the one who is eternal life. He was with the Father, and then he was revealed to us. We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We are writing these things so that you may fully share our joy.
Often we hear of the great things Jesus Christ will do in our lives, but we don’t hear enough about the warfare and battles we must endure for His sake. Jesus Christ is real – and He wants you to experience life in a brand new way. When we battle through the dark times through prayer and His Word – we will see how very real He is.
Ladies, don’t allow this dark world to fool you into believing the lie that Jesus Christ is not real. He is real!
Go to Him today in prayer and allow Him to break into the darkness – and you will see the power of the one who is real in your life!
